ITS SO NICE OUT!!!!

 

 

With the nice weather and entering the final month of the contest, we are focusing on workouts that the team can do if they are short on time and can't make it into the gym. The best workout that can be done anywhere and burns alot of calories is outdoor jogging. Once a week the girls are taking it outside. We start with a walk/run routine. This is the best way for beginners to start running without the pain. It gives your muscle recovery time before the next interval starts.

Their bodies are still continuing to change. As a team they are down another 6.5", totaling 27.5" and 25lbs off the scale.

 

Keep working hard team, I know you can do this!!!

WOW This is going by FAST

 

  
As we come to the end of the 2nd month we add in the last element of fitness..... balance.
The team work on Bosu balls to improve their balance while strengthening their core.
Still going strong, we put it all together and it shows.The scale weight is down, eating is better, sleeping is better and energy, strength and endurance has improved, making daily life of chasing children, attending classes and general day to day activity much easier. Confidence is higher and smiles are bigger.
Lets make the last month the best month!!!

TRX TIME

 

 

  
The team gets a taste of the TRX training system. Using body resistance for each exercise, the girls get a different feel then they did doing the circuit training. The TRX uses every stabilization muscle in the body helping to increase the heart rate and uses the core for every exercise they did. This is one of the best ways to help burn body fat while toning the muscle. Once you get past trusting that the straps are going to hold your body weight, you get a very efficient and effective workout.
The team is doing well with getting in the right type of nutrients, but portion control can always be a struggle. To help take out the guess work of this the girls get portion control plates to keep them on track and not to consume too many calories. Even if they are nutritional calories you have to be careful that you are burning more calories then you are taking in, in order to lose body fat.

1 Month Down 2 to Go

  

 

1st month went really well for Team Troy, Besides changing their lifestlye, the team has seen great changes in their bodies.

Which shows in the 74.3 lbs of fat that they’ve lost.  With circuit training and group fitness classes the team always has a challenge.

Their strength has improved as well as their cardiovascular endurance, they are able to skip steady for 3 min intervals and I believe they are starting to enjoy lunges!!  They’ve committed to an active lifestyle and an improved diet.

The next month is full of TRX training ,more functional and circuit training, more group fitness classes,  and a more aggressive nutrition plan.
